A superb mineral specimen of translucent, lustrous hexagonal Vanadinite crystals on matrix from Mibladen, Midelt, Morocco.
Widely known as the finest locality on Earth for the species, this specimen shows exactly why that is the case. Richly coating a contrasting peach-coloured matrix, the crystals interlock in a varying degree of sizes to create a very aesthetic display-worthy specimen. Each crystal is perfect and features a rare zoning consisting of the typical vibrant reddish orange colouration towards the exterior with a darker colouration in the centre. An array of smaller, more opaque crystals also coat the back of the specimen.
