A fantastic 'miniature' mineral specimen of rare Wendwilsonite on matrix from the famous type locality for the species: Aghbar Mine, Bou Azzer, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco.
The specimen features a vug lined on both sides of the specimen with lustrous Rose-Magenta coloured Wendwilsonite crystals with accompanying glassy colourless Calcite crystals of the same size. The crystals of both species are transparent and gemmy, making for a very attractive specimen of this sought-after Calcium Magnesium Cobalt Arsenate mineral.
The specimen comes with 2 labels: an old label from renound dealer 'Sable Minerals' (no. FL883) and an old 'Midland Minerals' label.
