An exceptional mineral specimen featuring world-class crystals of Siderite on matrix with associated Quartz crystals from the Iouriren Mine, Tafraout, Morocco.
The translucent Siderite crystals are perfectly terminated with no damage and display a rhombohedral habit. They also have a golden brown colouration with a pearly lustre. Several small optical Quartz crystals can be seen at the base of the specimen.
Comes with ex Don Edwards collection label.
The specimen comes fixed to an acrylic display base. This is a semi-permanent fixture and can be easily removed if required.
