Mining History

A vast continent rich with an abundance of mineral deposits. Famous mines like Namibia's Tsumeb Mine and South Africa's N'Chwaning Mines have produced a staggering number of mineral species. The Democratic Republic of Congo produces exceptional Malachite and Dioptase whilst Morocco is home to the highest quality Vanadinte deposits.

Tanzania is home to the world's only known source of the Tanzanite - a rare variety of Zoisite that's 1000x rarer than Diamond.
